This is an image that ran in the phone book until they found out that it is a little unusual.

Subliminal messages are in images every day. Subliminal images are on video boxes, in magazine ads, even in the phone book as the image to the left supports.

Subliminal tapes are sold by the millions to people that want to motivate themselves with custom subliminal messages. There are subliminal messages in songs. There are even computer programs so you can make your own custom subliminal message to yourself as you watch your computer each day.

What does it look like he is holding in his left hand?

I have circled the most obvious subliminal image... There are also words or at least letters written in the shadows of his body. You can begin to see the letters when you "sharpen" the image.

Beer ad that used wood chips to tout the idea that the beer had a "smoked" flavor.

I think they were doing something else with those wood chips.

Notice anything odd about this image? What is peeking out the bottom of his shorts?

Check out the palm trees on the far right of the image... notice anything odd about the palm leaves?

Now this subliminal message is pretty obvious what they are selling. She is ready willing and able and holding it open for you.

This Subliminal Message is really out in the open as to what you will be eating if you buy their product.

I will flip the image over so that the subliminal image is even more obvious as to what they are selling.

This packaging is fairly obvious in it's use of subliminal imagery.

Feel the Curves, indeed. I would guess the "curves" are going to be felt when you put this item to your mouth.

Think about what the Subliminal Message is to you each time you take a drink of that product.

The message in this subliminal is?

Chuckle.

Humm, flight attendants like large towers?

Humm. Wonder what that subliminal image looks like? Why it was not cropped out of the ad? Unless it was important that it be left in?

See a hidden subliminal message in the lights of the buildings?

I have turned the image on it's side and highlighted the word in the windows.

This ad was so blatant that is not even a subliminal image. I am guessing that this ad did not run in the US, but in some other country.

You decide.

First was the "Deaths Head Hawkmoth" ... then came the Dali Portrait ... then some Art Director for the movie company put the two ideas together on the moth on the movie poster.

Most people will see the skull on the movie poster. Most people will NOT see that the skull is made up of figures of women.

Look at the "S" skittle next to the word "eXplosion". What does the word turn into now?

Chuckle.

Sometimes the subliminal message is not about sex, sometimes it is just about getting your logo imbedded in the mind of the viewer as often as possible.
